A man has died following a road traffic collision on the B645 near Hargrave on Friday afternoon.
The 51-year-old man was driving a white Citroen van towards Chelveston when he was in collision with a grey Vauxhall Insignia travelling in the opposite direction.
Sadly the man died at the scene of the collision, which happened at about 2.20pm. The 41-year-old man driving the Insignia was taken to Northampton General Hospital with serious injuries.
Officers investigating the collision would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.

Meanwhile police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A509 near Wollaston, on Saturday morning (1 October).
At about 5.30am, near to the junction with London Road, a black Mercedes, driven by a 29-year-old man from Wellingborough, was in collision with a white Ford Transit, driven by a 48-year-old man from Finedon.
The driver of the Mercedes sadly died at the scene.
