A man who targeted vehicles and homes in Peterborough and Farcet has been jailed for 22 months.
Philip Kelly was sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court last month for four counts of theft from a motor vehicle and two counts of burglary.
He’d previously appeared at Peterborough Magistrates a month earlier – charged with burglary and theft and was subsequently released on compassionate grounds with a deferred sentence.
Detective Constable Neil Gibbs said: “Burglary is a force priority for us and our aim is to not only prevent offending but to also catch offenders.
“Kelly was a prolific threat to those in the Peterborough area and this sentence shows how seriously we take burglary in Cambridgeshire.”
