Four men who kidnapped a man in Peterborough and made financial demands have been jailed for more than thirty-five years.
The victim was at home last December when 38-year-old Nigel Collins and 31-year-old Alex Callcut barged into the property and bundled him into a car – before making threats and hitting him in the head.
36-year-old Tyssen Newland was waiting in the vehicle – which then went towards London – with the victim assaulted en route.
They later met 30-year-old Ross Bright at a gym – where the group threatened to rape the man – before eventually letting him go in Ilford.
As well as the jail sentences – all four men have been given life time restraining orders.
