A consultation’s underway on plans to create two unitary authorities in Northamptonshire that would replace the county council and all the borough and district councils.
The idea came about after the county council was criticised for the way it handled its finances.
But in Corby there’ll be public meetings tonight and tomorrow night in addition to the main consultation for residents to find out more.
The meetings are at the following places;
Monday 11th June – 6pm, Matt Busby Lounge, Lodge Park Sports Centre.
Tuesday 12th June – 6pm, Council Chamber, Corby Cube.
