Cambridgeshire County Council’s warning tough decisions will have to be made as it tries to balance its budget.
Councillors meet today to discuss how they’ll be able to plug a gap of more than five million pounds.
They’re also predicting they’ll need to find an extra 20 and a half million pounds for the next two years.
Officials say the black hole in the finances is being caused by the local impact of a national increase in demand for children’s and adults services.
The authority’s calling on the government to give them more money.
