A man who led police on a high-speed chase down narrow lanes near Peterborough has been jailed.
Adam Reeves was driving in Eye on Bank Holiday Monday in August – when officers received information that his vehicle may be stolen.
They tried to pull him over but Reeves accelerated – reaching more than 50 miles per hour in a built up area.
After causing dog walkers to jump out of the way on a country lane he ended up in a dead end – he was caught after attempting to flee on foot.
He’s been sentenced to six months in prison – and banned for more than two years.
